# DELETE /api/v2/project-links/{project_link}

Delete a project link

- MCP id: project-links.destroy
- Scope: api:destroy:projects
- Permission: projects::links
- Rate cost: 1 unit, write bucket.
- Cache-Control: private, no-store

Deletes a project link permanently: it uses no soft deletes, so there is no restore and no force parameter.

The delete bumps the owning project's `updated_at` and is recorded in the project's activity timeline. The bulk delete in plnnrly maps to one DELETE per link; there is no bulk endpoint. Every project link operation requires the `projects::links` permission, not the projects prefix's usual create, read, update and delete permissions.

## Parameters
- project_link (integer, path): The ProjectLink's numeric id.
- X-Request-Id (header, optional): A correlation id of your own. It is recorded in our logs next to the server's request id but never returned: the response header always carries the server's id. A value that does not match the pattern is discarded silently, never rejected.
- If-Match (header, optional): The ETag a write is conditional on. A stale validator is 412 precondition-failed.
