# claude.ai

Add plnnrly to Claude on the web as a custom connector and sign in once, without a token.

Claude on the web (claude.ai) connects to plnnrly as a custom connector. You sign in to plnnrly once, and there is no token to copy. The connector belongs to your Claude account, so it also works in Claude Desktop, Cowork and the Claude mobile apps.

## Before you start

- MCP is switched on for your organisation. It is off in a new organisation until an administrator switches it on. If the **AI** panel (the sparkles icon in the top bar) is missing in plnnrly, ask an administrator; see [For administrators](https://developers.plnnrly.com/en/docs/administration/).
- You have the server URL, `https://<your-url>/mcp/v1`. `<your-url>` is the address you sign in to plnnrly on, such as `acme.plnnrly.com`, or your organisation's own domain. The **AI** panel shows the exact URL.
- Custom connectors work on every Claude plan. The Free plan allows one.

## Add the connector

On a Free, Pro or Max plan you add the connector yourself:

1. In Claude, open **Customize › Connectors**.
2. Choose **Add custom connector**.
3. Enter `plnnrly` as the name and `https://<your-url>/mcp/v1` as the URL.
4. If Claude asks how people sign in, choose **Sign in now** under **Authentication** and **Register automatically** under **OAuth client**. If it shows **Advanced settings** instead, leave them empty.
5. Click **Add**.
6. A plnnrly window opens. Sign in if needed, check the details and click **Approve**. If no window opens, click **Connect** next to plnnrly under **Customize › Connectors**.

## On a Team or Enterprise plan

An Owner adds the connector once for the whole Claude organisation:

1. Open **Organization settings › Connectors**.
2. Choose **Add**, then **Custom**. If Claude asks for the connector type, choose **Web**.
3. Enter `https://<your-url>/mcp/v1` as the server URL. Leave the OAuth client ID and secret empty. If Claude asks how people sign in, choose the same options as in step 4 above.
4. Click **Add**.

Each member then connects with their own plnnrly account. They open **Customize › Connectors**, find plnnrly with the **Custom** label and click **Connect**. A plnnrly window opens, where they sign in and click **Approve**.

## Check that it works

Start a new chat. Click **+**, choose **Connectors** and check that plnnrly is switched on. Then ask something like "Which work items are assigned to me?"

When Claude asks to use a plnnrly tool, read the request before you allow it, especially for **Write to the API**, the tool that can change data.

## Remove the connector

Open **Customize › Connectors** and click **Remove** next to plnnrly. An Owner removes an organisation connector under **Organization settings › Connectors**. This stops Claude from using plnnrly.

To be sure the sign-in itself is cut, use **Disconnect** in plnnrly; see [Disconnect an app](https://developers.plnnrly.com/en/docs/mcp/#disconnect-an-app).

## Troubleshooting

If the connector does not connect, or plnnrly refuses a request, see [Troubleshooting](https://developers.plnnrly.com/en/docs/mcp/troubleshooting/).
